MawMaw and Addison

MeMe, Addison & MawMaw

Addison and MawMaw on Saturday right after surgery

Addison and MawMaw on Sunday

(She was doing much better)

*I would like for you to take time to pray for MawMaw, she is battling a terrible disease of the mind. Alzheimer's. She needs your prayer for the next few weeks at least, during this hospital stay and therapy. She doesn't remember falling and doesn't understand why she can't just go back to her room @ HomeStyle. Please Pray! Thank You!

Wishes do come true...

Well sort of. Addi and I went to Arkansas with MeMe this weekend to visit MawMaw (Mrs. Linda's mom). MawMaw lives in a nursing home/ assited living home called Homestyle. She fell Thursday evening and broke her hip so she had to have surgery. Mrs. Linda asked Addison and I to go with her and after much thought we decided to venture off. This was Addisons first trip and first time to stay away from home. The drive itself is 6 1/2 hours, but with a baby an two woman who have to make frequent bathroom breaks, it takes a little longer. We left Lake Providence Friday @ 3 and arrived @ The Hampton Inn @ 11:30. Addison did GREAT! MawMaw had surgery Saturday morning and it went great. We got to see all of MeMe's family, which was wonderful and way past due. We got up Sunday morning to visit MawMaw again and took off about 1:15 and got home about 9:30. Yeah, needless to say I AM EXHAUSTED!!!

Anyway back to the snow wishes...When we got to Springdale there was snow on the ground. YEAH! And Saturday it snowed almost all day. So I bundled up my baby and ploped her down in the middle of a pile of snow and snapped a few shots of her first snow.

Still wishing for snow...

I loved these pictures. She looked so big and thought she was when I put her in the rocker. And the pjs are adorable. We are still wishing for snow too build that snowman. Just wanted to share...

Cardboard?!?

Everyone knows that when a child opens a gift its the cardboard box (or the paper) that they love the most. Just give the child cardboard and they can have the most fun. Well who would have thought a 6 month old would get so excited over a paper towel roll.

Just a few overdue/random pictures

One Sunday afternoon at Granny's

This was our Fall Festival outfit. How cute can a flower be!?!

Our after the party and much more comfortable outfit.

November 3rd, Addi's first hospital visit. She was so pitiful. I hurt just looking at her.
Picking out our first Christmas tree. This was important to me. I have always been a real tree gal and this year I wanted to go as a family to pick/cut down our tree. Well this was the closes I got to doing that. Thanks to The Corner Market I did get a real tree though. I hope to start a tradition that I enjoyed as a little girl with my family.

The Boyett's. Chris, Amy and Joshua. This was taken December 8th.

Last night was the first night in a long time that my husband has been home before Addi and I have gone to bed. He put her to sleep and chose to let her sleep on his stomach while he 'watched' the football game.
EXHAUSTION set in!!!
FYI...He has not been home much because we have opened up a new business in town. Providence Cabinets & Woodworks, located next door to Jehovah Java, the old Aaron's building. This has been a dream of his for a very long time and we/he decided to leap out there and do it. We took advantage of the opportunity and put full faith and trust in God. Providence means 'God's hand will provide' and that's why he chose the name. He still works for Frank Foster Construction and just comes home in the afternoon to this job. I ask for your prayers for our family during the beginning of this journey.
And if you are looking for a new set of kitchen cabinets or whatever it might be, think of us and give us a call. Thank You!

How cute are we!?!

I just wanted to share the past two Sunday dresses...
Thanks to Mary Grace's closet

Addi and her Papa
He loves to get her for praise and worship service.
I think it helps him relax his mind before preaching.

Merry Merry Blessed Christmas!!!!

Christmas!!!!!

A very good friend of our family just dropped off Christmas presents for our family. Well I just had to dig in, let's just say I am ready for Christmas. This was Addisons first present to 'open'. I really did not think she would enjoy or get into it this year, I just thought she was too young. But was I wrong. I put the gift in front of her and she tried her hardest to tear into it. Thirty minutes later she is still eating the paper.

Thank You Carey! I can't wait to read this Storybook to her.

*******************************************************************************

Last night I put her by Nana's tree and all the gifts and oh my she just could not get her hands off all the gifts. Audree was getting upset with Addison because she was trying to 'open' what Audree thought was her present. (It really was Addisons)

It did not matter where I moved this present, she was determined to sit/jump on it. We had to retape it before returning it under the tree.

I am ready to our FIRST CHRISTMAS!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Under Construction

Okay so bare with me. The blog is currently under construction. I started this project but as usual was unable to finish it and the internet decided to freeze up on me, of course. I am currently trying to change the look of the blog and learn some new things. So be patient. Thanks ~ Kelly

She's growing up too fast...

A few highlights of this week...

* She is rolling over from tummy to back and back to tummy! And loves doing it, I think she knows it makes her mommy happy.
* She tries real hard to hold her own bottle. The little ones she can just about hold it the whole feeding.
* She has found her feet and LOVES them. When she gets a hold of them she just giggles.
* She's trying to sit up. Anytime I put her in her bouncer, carseat or laying against me, she trys to 'sit up'.
* She loves to watch people.
* She was sick with something called stridor, her vocal box was swollen so she was hoarse. She's all better now.
* She weighed 14 lbs and 11 ounces Thursday at the doctor. Although she had just finished her bottle in the waiting room. For those of you that read the last blog, Yes thats a gain of 11 ounces in a week.

Heres a video of rolling over back to tummy, a little sidenote that I thought was hilarious...she tooted as she was trying to get that final push over.

Audree and Nana came over Saturday night for supper and let me just say Audree loved her some chicken alfredo. And that her Aunt Kelly let her be a big girl and sit at the table with us in her own chair and use her own fork to feed herself. FYI Don't take the fork from her.

Addison and her two Papa's

I thought this one was two cute not to share,

Nana got a better one she's gonna share later. (they were kissing)

Audree giving Addison 'sugars'

Hey! Where'd she go?

Another sidenote, Audree likes Addisons toys.

We Did It!!!

Saturday morning Addison and I were playing on a pallet in the living room. I was giving her some good ol' tummy time when she decided she needed a toy that was not in her reach. She could only see it, so she went for it. And rolled right over to her back. I got so excited for her but she looked at me like I was crazy and then just smiled. So I got the camera out to see if she would perform again and she did. Addison is rolling over, both ways!!!

Here's a little video of her achievement...

She rolls to the left and then ......................
she rolls to the right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are a few pictures I finally took off my camera...

This outfit was too cute not to share...

She looked adorable in it.

I pick on her about her mowhawk she growing :)

And just look at those cheeks!
